The Superior King Room featured a spacious layout, complete with a charming bay window that provided plenty of natural light. The bathroom was sparkling clean, highlighting a fantastic shower that made for a refreshing experience.
The room, while large, had a rather small radiator that struggled to heat the space adequately, leading to slightly chilly nights. it would have been beneficial to have more plumped pillows for those with neck issues, as the bedding was nice but not perfect. Lastly, the poached eggs during breakfast didn’t meet expectations, coming out hard instead of just right, though the overnight oats were certainly a tasty substitute.

Room temperature regulation is poor!!! An upgrade to more complete toiletries, like hair conditioner, would be appreciated!!! The fridge could definitely keep items cooler!!!

I really loved the huge, super comfy bed 😍 in our spacious room. Off-street parking was a plus too. Just wished we had better control over the room temp at night.

We stayed in the Superior King Room, which was beautifully spacious and perfectly decorated. The huge, comfortable bed and the sparkling clean bathroom with a fantastic shower made our stay so enjoyable. We also loved having breakfast brought to our room. it was delicious and felt very pampering. Off-street parking and good internet were added bonuses!
Only wish we could control the room temperature better at night.

pleasant stay with some room for improvement
The welcome felt genuine right from the start. Breakfast in bed was delightful, particularly the fresh fruit and pastries. The bed's comfort level exceeded my expectations and ensured a restful night. I appreciated having a cozy chair for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The cooling efficiency of the fridge left something to be desired.

Loved my stay at Slate Hall Bed & Breakfast. The luxurious decor in the Standard King Room took me by surprise. The attention to detail was impressive, from the tasty fresh orange juice in the fridge to the delicious overnight oats for breakfast. Each morning, I felt spoiled with breakfast served right in my room. The location was just perfect, making it easy to enjoy the stunning walks to the harbour. I found it a bit chilly at night. It would have been nice to control the room temperature better. Despite that, the ambiance felt cozy under the duvet and didn't diminish my experience. Mark and Monique were excellent hosts, always available yet respectful of privacy. I would absolutely recommend Slate Hall for a retreat in Northumberland.

only things were that the fridge could've been cooler and the room got a bit chilly at night, needed more blankets.
